We came on a Friday night with a reservation and were seated right away. The service was good and the food is delicious. We ordered appetizers, sushi, and bento boxes and ended with dessert. We had a booth in the corner and it felt like a private area. Very nice restaurant and ambiance. We came on a Friday night with a reservation and were seated right away. Parking is a piece of cake. Walked in 45 minutes before close and it was pretty busy, but we got sat right away. There are so many great options on the menu. The hand roll had a bit too much rice but the salmon skin was perfectly flavored and crispy. The yellowtail roll was my favorite, it was fresh and packed with spicy tuna. My sister got the super crunch roll which was pretty delicious as well. My niece got a kids bento box, which was nicely served. The veggie croquet was bomb! Perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This place is pretty big with lots of seating and very clean and modern looking. Can't wait to try more menu items.
Since my first visit and review, I've been to Yume a few more times, and each time, it's been a delightful experience. The soft lighting and wooden interior create a romantic mood especially in the evenings, making it a perfect spot for a date night for special occasions. Manager Naenee and the staff always provide a warm welcome, and their attentive service consistently elevates the dining experience. The quality of the food is exceptional, with the chefs' meticulous craftsmanship and beautifully presented sushi truly standing out. Yume never fails to impress with its top-notch flavors and service, making the drive worth it every time. Honestly, it's one of those hidden gems I find myself wanting to gatekeep!
Great service with solid drinks and good food. Would come here again. We tried 3 of their drinks gold rush soju sunrise and soju midnight would recommend all of them.
Amazing on all counts. Ambiance is very much like Little Tokyo. Whether it's sushi, teriyaki or ramin all dishes are delicious and you can enjoy your meal along with the music and not feel rushed.
My husband and I been coming here since they have opened their restaurant The food is delicious and everyone is nice Employees are very attentive Great service I would definitely recommend this place
I had been driving past this place for a while and finally decided to try it when our original sushi spot was closed. I was blown away, to say the least. The ambiance is chic and ideal for a date--clean, sleek, and beautifully designed. Whether you're dressed up or keeping it casual, it feels just right. Every detail is aesthetically pleasing, and that attention to detail is something I really appreciated. My friend and I ordered five dishes, and every single one was delicious--a rare feat for me. Even though the cheesecake was still a bit frozen, I didn't mind much. Having worked in the restaurant industry for a few years, I can be a little forgiving with things like that, especially since the flavor was on point (and I'm definitely a sugar lover). The service was excellent--our server was sweet, and other staff members stepped in to help, creating a seamless dining experience. I was completely surprised by how wonderful my time here was, especially since I haven't had such a great experience at a restaurant in a while. My friend and I are already planning our next visit this week. The combination of a clean, stylish atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service makes this place a true hidden gem. Highly recommend!
Service, food and ambient was good! The interior vibe was also great and they have their own parking lot which is always a plus. They have a combination of Korean + Japanese which is always nice.
The 4 of us wanted to try a new sushi place and the Dine LA menu. Glad we got to share a few dishes together. For Dina LA at $55 I picked - shishito pepper, halibut mango salsa, truffle salmon, set menu of 4 pcs of sushis (bluefin/hotate/salmon/white fish) plus a negitoro hand roll. It was really filling but it also comes with a Yuze cheesecake! Yum! They also had a promo for rolls which was buy one get one half off. The only ones we liked was the Pico roll which has seared salmon on top. The others are just Cali rolls with fake imitation crabs with fried stuff on top. Hubby also added the scallop sushi by itself and it was very fresh. Overall we had a nice dinner but would only stick to sashimi, sushi and signature rolls for future visits. Service was friendly and our waiter was very patience with us.
Great location, with quick service, enough parking spaces, and lots lots lots of options on the menu. We enjoyed the sushi rolls, salmon belly sashimi, along with other plates. I wasn't quite blown away by the flavors but it was delicious enough to satisfy! I would recommend sticking to the sushi plates, as the ramen bowl we ordered lacked in freshness (also a little too spicy for my toddler). We'll definitely go back to try some more plates.
